We had an owl visit us last week! We are lucky to have a PTA that arranges the visit for us each year. The naturalist from the Maryland Nature Center does a fabulous job introducing Ranger, the Barred Owl to the kids. She is warm and hard to fluster. The kids are very well behaved and entranced by being so close to a real owl.
My kids all got to make an owl to display for the visit. Aren't they cute?
