I thought I should have a giveaway so I chose my favorite book: Pete the Cat! I have all of the books so far (and I pre-ordered the next one). I think the original is still my favorite and that is what this giveaway is for.
Pete the Cat is my class favorite, too. We even act it out at the end of the year with instruments and props for the parents. I will be using it again this year at the beginning of the year (and beyond!).

Love Pete the Cat and agree that the "I Love My White Shoes" book is the best! We made a favorite color shoe graph to go with it and made a classbook with each child picking something new for Pete to step in and turn his shoes that color. What a great book for encouraging positive attitudes :)

My favorite is I Like My White Shoes. There are so many possibile activities and content connections to make with this book. I substitute and this book would be so easy to use in my "Bag of Tricks" that I always carry with me!!

I am new to your blog and I am so excited to start reading. This will be my first year and my first year in Kinder. My favorite Pete the Cat book is I Love My White Shoes. I had a student last year (teacher's aide position) that would literally sing the book all day. So cute!
I also am a Pete fan. I'm a Reading Teacher and planning to use it with some of my older students with the theme: Good Decisions!

You know, I never read these stories before but I have been planning activities to do with them after seeing all the hype they have gotten! I've been hardily scouting for this at Half Priced Book Store and garage sales. If I have no luck, I'll definitely give in and by it by fall!
